Join me for the opening of Formed in the Land of Fire & Ice, featuring new work created during a recent month-long artist residency in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. The collection of work - ranging from vessels and wearable ceramics to photographs, drawings, and journal entries - immerses you, the viewer, in the creative and contemplative process of working in relative isolation inspired by the dramatic landscape, aesthetic language, and delicate flora of Iceland.
This reception will also celebrate the opening of exhibitions by Gerit Grimm in the museum's Falb Family Gallery and by Stina Joy Henslee in the Kris Mozena McNamer Gallery.
